About This Opportunity
We are looking for a Warehouse Associate. Someone that enjoys working hard, excited to learn new skills and appreciates countless opportunities for growth! As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll be responsible for handling and receiving goods into the warehouse. You would be conducting quality and quantity checks, receiving returned merchandise, cycle counts, replenishing stock, and loading and wrapping pallets for domestic and international shipping. You will also be trained in various logistics functions such as shipping parcel/freight, staging, loading/unloading trucks, and packing orders.

What does a Warehouse Associate do, anyway?

Safely operate warehouse machinery

Machinery includes – carts, standard pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, powered straddle stackers

Work cooperatively and productively with other Team Members
Sort, organize, and store inventory in proper location(s) while ensuring accuracy
Report any damaged or missing inventory to supervisor(s)
Conduct all receiving functions
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area / warehouse
Conduct cycle counts
Prepare and generate shipping labels
Unload and load shipments and products from trucks
Physical Demands include –

Intermittent periods during which physical exertion can be required, such as walking, standing, stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting material and/or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward
Warehouse environment can expose Team Members to temperature fluctuations (hot/cold)
Lift up to 50 lbs frequently; lift up to 70 lbs occasionally

If this sounds like you, your previous education, work experience, and passions probably sound like this:

High school degree or equivalent
Experience with 5S Principles
Working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Minimum 1-2 years of warehouse or inventory management experience
Possess basic math abilities, measure, and count accurately
Ability to comprehend written instructions
Interpersonal skills are essential – working as a team is vital to maintaining and organized warehouse
Highly organized problem solver
Highly motivated and is always looking for tasks to be engaged and improve

Lastly, here’s what success looks like in this position:

Accurately receive and document merchandise for delivery or return
Ability to adapt and execute under stress in order to accomplish your and the team’s objectives
Ensure that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping – obtain 99% audit compliance
Mark and label inventory in accordance with inventory management guidelines – obtain 99% audit compliance
Achieve 99% inventory accuracy of warehouse materials
Must be versed with using different forms of electronic inventory management systems to include scanning
