Schneider Electric has an opportunity for an entry-level
security Systems Technician in our
Horsham, PA branch location.
What will you do?
Perform commissioning of access control and video surveillance systems to ensure proper operation
Repair and reconfigure access control and video surveillance systems equipment
Diagnose communication problems and install access control and video surveillance devices and other components
Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues
Troubleshoot and verify correct operation of equipment, field devices, wire and conduit
Install, replace and re-commission devices, equipment and software
Assist in performing job site training sessions
Provide emergency and warranty service as required
Track costs associated with startup and commissioning to complete the assigned project on-time and within budget
What qualifications will make you successful?
You are a current student graduating in May 2023 or a recent graduate from an accredited college or trade school, pursuing a degree in Electronics, Information Technology or similar program
Knowledge of electrical or information technology principles required
Programming knowledge/skills is a plus
Access control and video surveillance systems knowledge is a plus
