Payroll Associate

To satisfy the needs of our growing client base, Hamilton Lane is looking to hire an Associate to join our Total Rewards team in Conshohocken PA. The Associate will be responsible for completing all payroll functions of the organization, including on time, accurate payroll processing that is in compliance with government regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participate in the integration of a global payroll platform bringing all foreign payrolls under one umbrella
Assist in the preparation of global biweekly/weekly/monthly payroll with duties as assigned by the Payroll Manager
Process payroll reports
Maintain wage attachment files and update electronic tracking with each processed payroll
Research, analyze and resolve payroll related issues or employee questions
Process off -cycle check requests, including PTO cash outs
Provide analysis on various programs that need to be recognized in employees pay data, such as ESPP, Restricted Stock and other non-cash pay items
Review time and attendance reports
Review and address payroll tax notices and rate changes

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS; Education and/or Experience:

At least 3 years of work experience, preferably at least two years in a payroll function
Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
Knowledge of local, state and federal payroll laws
Efficiency and attention to detail is critical
Strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong work ethic, professional demeanor and appearance
Microsoft office software (Word, Excel) proficiency
Proficient with Workday, CloudPay or other centralized payroll system
A team-oriented approach and an ability to interact productively within a diverse, small company environment.
