Intake Coordinator – Addiction Treatment

Hybrid role (In office full time for first 90 days before transitioning to hybrid.)
Bonus Compensation: Eligible for monthly bonus compensation after training.
The Addiction Treatment Intake Coordinator works in the heartbeat of Recovery Centers of America (RCA), our Call Center, aka “Mission Center”. The Addiction Treatment Intake Coordinator is the first point of contact for someone looking for help for themselves, a loved one, or current patient. They call 1-800-RECOVERY and you are there with empathy, creativity, high-spirits, and a drive to find help for the person in need within one of RCA’s addiction treatment facilities and/or provide resources that will help someone work towards a healthy life in recovery.
Specific Responsibilities:

Promptly receives and processes inbound interactions via phone, email, chat and/or social media channels and answers general questions, triages calls, and/or provides resources and information upon request of the contact
Comforts, motivates, and inspires potential patients to accept help and successfully intervenes, as needed
Pre-screens patients for treatment, identifying psychosocial, mental health & medical issue
Ensures intake documentation is accurate
Assesses facility and bed availability based on patient needs and schedules logistics for admissions
Verifies insurance, processes payment, schedules the patient at the facility, and prepares patient for their recovery journey

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred
2+ year’s professional experience in healthcare, customer service or sales in an admission center environment preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce experience a plus
Demonstrated experience providing empathetic and compassionate care for individuals in need
Experience working in a substance abuse facility, in the treatment of addiction or mental health preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
