Human Resources Administrative Assistant

General Description
Primary responsibilities include providing administrative and functional support to the HR team in the areas of staff engagement programs and data and file management.
Essential Functions

Maintain employee records (soft and hard copies)
Update HR databases (e.g. new hires, separations, vacation and sick leaves)
Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data, like absences, bonus and leaves and attending weekly meetings
Prepare paperwork for HR policies and procedures
Process employees’ requests and provide relevant information
Coordinate HR projects, meetings and training seminars
Collaborate with HR Generalist to assist with LOA’s and Workers Compensation paperwork
Collaborate with the Recruiter to post job ads on careers pages and process incoming resumes
Manage the department’s telephone and emails queries accordingly
Prepare reports and presentations for internal communication


Minimum high school diploma, associate’s degree preferred.
Two years of administrative experience.
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite
Experience with HRIS preferred
Well organized and efficient.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Is able to maintain confidential information.

Must have received or be willing to receive a complete Covid 19 vaccines (2 vaccines and 1 booster) -OR- be able to obtain a medical or religious exemption.

Pay: $24.00 – $25.00 per hour
