HR Manager – Skilled Nursing Home

Recruit Secure is collaborating with a beautiful Skilled Nursing Home in Spring House, PA that is seeking an HR Manager for direct hire. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for supporting all of the day-to-day duties of the human resources department within the Nursing Home. This includes recruitment and onboarding of staff, reporting changes to payroll, supporting employee programs, and meeting healthcare regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HR policies and best practices, experience working in long-term care or a Skilled nursing home, and should possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. This position reports directly to the Administrator. Salary and a full-benefts package are offered as well as other perks.

Responsibilities:

Handling all aspects of Human Resources including, employee morale programs, employee disciplines, changes in payroll status, terminations, resignations, benefits, I-9, worker’s compensation disability, and FMLA.
Ensure that the Facility complies with all regulatory authorities including the Department of Health.
Manage recruitment needs by determining open positions, being aggressive in recruitment efforts, screening, and interviewing applicants

Requirements:

At least two years of experience in HR
Experience supporting an HR department in a Skilled Nursing Home or other long-term care facilities – mandatory
Understanding regulations governing healthcare facilities
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
