Job Summary About the Team: The Product & Technology Business Operations team supports financial operations, budgeting and modeling, business case analysis, dashboarding and reporting, procurement, labor analysis and several other ad hoc requests for the Product Management and Engineering leadership in TPX. Using various data sources, we are responsible for providing detailed analysis that is used to make critical financial & labor decisions and drive strategic initiatives for the organization.
Job Description

What we’re looking for:
We are looking for an analyst that will be responsible for creating and facilitating financial reporting & analysis to evaluate performance metrics. Working with your team members, you’ll be involved in evaluating this reporting and recommending action plans to drive business decisions, enhance the customer experience and drive operational efficiencies.

Your core responsibilities will be to:
Align metrics against the Company’s operational plans to ensure alignment and focus
Develop and maintain standard reporting measures, explain relevant data and continuously analyze alternatives and solutions for our partners
Both quantitatively and qualitatively evaluate and recommend action plans, based on all operational reporting and analysis, to help the business achieve its strategic goals
Partner cross-functionally with various business units/functions to drive efficiencies

While the role has both financial and operational components, we need someone comfortable with aggregating, scrubbing, and building succinct reporting with large swaths of data. This includes building Tableau dashboards and reporting in Excel. It also may include coding and bug fixing backend scripts that tie multiple systems together, so experience with Python and SQL is preferred.

Core Responsibilities
Provides weekly, monthly and annual reports. Provides special reports and analyses to support the business as necessary
Identifies issues, analyzes available data & information, and recommends changes to management
Creates and maintains multiple operational reporting tools
Provides analytical support of actual results against budget and feasibility of proposed business strategies
Analyze and clearly communicate data. Present data informed conclusions to partners seeking answers – experience in any BI tool is preferred (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
Communicate well across multiple business functions; engages other team members or business units when necessary to aggregate pertinent data and drives thoughtful discussions around analysis and process improvements.
Ensures accuracy of data through partnerships with team members. Provides day-to-day validation and spot checks.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Knowledge of Python, SQL and Tableau preferred

Bachelor’s Degree
