Admissions Specialist – Drug/Alcohol Inpatient Facility

Beacon Point Recovery Center is looking for a full-time Admissions Specialist to join our always growing team. The candidate will be expected to work the 3p-11p shift with open weekend availability. Prospective candidate will have ability to multi-task while working independently to screen and admit those looking for SUD treatment.
DDAP approved ASAM certification completion (Module 1 & 2) is a requirement to be considered for this position and prospective candidates will be asked to supply supporting certifications prior to interview scheduling.
Individual must be eligible to work in U.S. and have obtained at least a High School Diploma or GED equivalent (some college credits are preferred). Must have proficient computer skills including use of Microsoft Office suite and various internet-based applications. Candidate should possess some knowledge surrounding the Philadelphia Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment process as well as the ASAM criteria. Must possess customer service skills.
Candidate must be able to submit background clearances as required (PA Criminal, DHS Child Abuse and FBI fingerprinting) and pass a drug screen. COVID-19 vaccination card and/or eligible exemption must be submitted for review prior to start of employment.

Related Experience:
(1) year working in SUD treatment within Philadelphia treatment system is preferred.
