About The Role
As an Account Director at DCI, you will:
Develop plans and strategies for expanding existing accounts and achieving the company’s sales goals.
Focus on discovery, and work closely with clients to gain a deep understanding of their business challenges and needs.
Nurture client relationships post-sale, while presenting additional solutions and identifying new business opportunities.
Meet regularly with sales management and strategy teams to communicate sales goals, new business development pipeline and forecasts.
Accurately track and record customer communications and activity.
Understand program and account success metrics, ensuring business objectives and all KPI’s are reported on and met.
Build, engage and maintain consistent and cohesive relationships with key contacts.
Develop relationships and work directly with internal staff to create and present innovative integrated marketing solutions to identified prospects.
Meet or exceed sales objectives and develop profitable integrated marketing programs.
Utilize an analytical approach to develop creative breakthrough solutions based on consumer insights.
Collaborate with the DCI Marketing team of strategists, marketers, designers, project managers and digital staff to create state of the art solutions for clients.
Successfully function in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing and managing multiple opportunities/deadlines simultaneously.
Develop in-depth account profiles for assigned targets and develop long and short-term Strategic Plans for the assigned targets and accounts.
Develop annual Revenue objectives for developed account(s).
Provide account updates to Leadership, Management, Product Teams, and other company stakeholders on a weekly basis and more comprehensive and detailed updates quarterly.
What We’re Looking For
7+ years of client relations management, business development or B2B sales experience with automotive, consumer electronics or cosmetics brands.
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent combination of education/training and experience).
Experience in retail environments, web, and mobile device technology, and/or related consumer products.
A high level strategic and creative thinker, who understands trends/brands and can problem solve and conceptualize creative solutions for Fortune 100 clients.
A proven ability to build, maintain and manage multiple relationships at the most senior levels within client organizations.
Experience with the Request for Proposal (RFP), Statement of Work (SOW) and Business Requirements Documents (BRD) processes.
Successful experience managing a portfolio of clients with a high level of complexity.
A highly focused self-starter who works independently and collaborates well with colleagues at all levels.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
